Any polo pro will tell you that a polo club is only as good as its grounds and Hurtwood Park prides itself on grounds of superb quality.

The basic rules of a good ground are aeration, irrigation, feed and a good quality of cut.

A key factor in maintaining the grounds to such high standards is an enormous 2-acre lake, purpose dug at the end of 1999.

Considering a polo field is equivalent to 3 football pitches, and we have 6 in total, you can get an idea of just how much care and effort is put into keeping the grounds highly playable.

We’ve also plenty of space for car parking, as well as helicopters!
