For the first time Hurtwood ran a zero goal tournament next to the annual 6 goal. Clare Sheikh’s Freshwater made up of Ayyaz Sheikh, Daniel Acosta and Sarah Wiseman played against John Ayton’s Bremont made up of Oli Ayton, Nick Alun Jones, Ciao Sorzana and Rosie Fonseca (subbing for John).

This was a fast and hard fought match, special note should go to both Oli Ayton and Rosie Fonseca for there great play. Nick Alun Jones was as ever steady on the ball being backed up by Ciao. Wiseman as ever was steady at the back knocking the ball forward for Clare to run onto. Fastest man on the pitch as ever was Ayyaz often getting there with Acosta there to help out. Bremont ran out winners by one in the last chukka. A good win 4 to 3.
